With nothing but the clothes on his back—and something horrific snapping at his heels—Jack Winter fled his rural Georgia home when he was still just a boy. Watching the world he knew vanish in a trucker’s rearview mirror, he thought he was leaving an unspeakable nightmare behind forever. But years later, the bright new future he’s built suddenly turns pitch black, as something fiendishly familiar looms dead ahead.

Stumbled on [b:Seed|11422798|Seed|Ania Ahlborn|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1305997493s/11422798.jpg|16356035] by pure coincidence, turned out to be a good way to discover books since this find was awesome! [a:Ania Ahlborn|4867939|Ania Ahlborn|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1306173710p2/4867939.jpg] has done a super job conjuring up this gem.

Loved the suspense from page one, never really learning Jacks secrets until it was too late.

The tale is gruesome and the ending was perfect, making me long for more. The characters are human and you really get to know them throughout the book.

Awesome twisted tale, read it, you won't regret it.
