Traitor vanguards tear towards the heart of the Imperial Palace, sensing victory. Desperate gambits are attempted: an unwilling saint is released into the ruins, as well as an enthusiastic sinner. Another fantastic banger from Chris Wraight about the White Scars. I'm glad he got a chance to write a book in the SoT series and he did it wonderfully.
There's a lot of juicy shit in this one. I'm also quite impressed with how well he writes the Death Guard post-transformation.
