Bookstodon 7/2023 Hard Sci-Fi Recommendations Public

Created by Courts

A list in no particular order of the book recommendations from a Mastodon thread I started on 6 July 2023, asking for hard sci-fi. I tried to add all the books mentioned, but I cannot guarantee that I saw everything, so check out the original replies, too (there are also more generic recommendations for authors to look up):

I also added the books I already read and mention in the thread. Also, if it is a series, I only added the first book. Unfortunately, many entries here are lacking the proper metadata regarding their series, so please check for yourself if one of the listed books is part of a series or a standalone novel.

Not all books are strictly "hard sci-fi", but as always, defining a genre is not easy, so I added them all anyways.

Happy reading!
