I really didn't think reading the reminsces of a 4,000 year old monstrous Leto II would make me love him, but it accomplishes this impossible feat with ease.

I read this book for work, and I feel that it would be really helpful if you don't understand the way that people work. I'm not really in that group, and I didn't gain much from it...

reviewed Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert (Chronicles of Dune, #2)

I don't really get the hate for this book. It feels essential to the story, and is also a fun read. It's really good if you enjoy political machinations and don't feel like you need to understand everything right off the bat.
