Decent book that talks about how anyone can be creative. I was worried this would be a “self-help book,” but I actually enjoyed it. I didn’t learn a ton, though. Possibly because the stuff talked about in the book is pretty standard today, as opposed to forty years ago.

Steel Rabbit reviewed House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski
Review of 'House of Leaves' on 'Goodreads'

Real cool book. Lots to think about. I thought it would be scarier, based on what people told me about it. It’s really more of a love story. I really liked it, and how much it plays with the structure of a novel. Very “meta!”

Steel Rabbit reviewed The Spear of Shadows by Josh Reynolds (Eight Lamentations)

Great adventure story. Good characters even if they don’t really develop throughout the story. Too bad there won’t be any more books in this series seeing as it ends on kind of a cliffhanger.
Steel Rabbit reviewed The herald by Ed Greenwood (The Sundering -- Book 6)

Some of the writing here is a little goofy. There are some grim battle scenes, but the characters prance and jape their way through them. A lot more exposition than necessary. The story also jumps around too much, and I honestly don’t know why any of the Mirt sections were in there.

Great read! Wonderful characters, and a really cool plot. A bit hard to follow the scheming of the three devils when it was being described initially, but it got cleared up in the end.

R.A. Salvatore writes an addicting book. I could barely put this one down. I can’t fathom why he names any of his characters the way he does, though. Great book; would recommend.
