Nice moral story for kids. However, "Friendship is magic" is the best among my little ponies as well all know

surya reviewed Boy Who Would Be King by Michael Foreman
Review of 'Boy Who Would Be King' on 'Goodreads'

As a child when you hear epics like "Mahabharatha" it is all so distant and far away. But as an adult you realise how close to reality it is."The boy who would be King" by M Morpurgo is yet another story about kings and queens. Not a fan of monarchy. The experiences may vary depending on who one is or where one is from, but the intensity of pain and happiness over the course of life pretty much averages the same to everyone I think.
Good read. Wouldn't recomment anyone to spend your bucks buying this, but if you happen to lay your hands on it, then yeah sure worth passing time sort of book.

Characters have cute cheesy names like "Pinky Pie", "Flutter Shy", "Sweetie Belle", & "Apple Bloom". Also, the characters in "Ponyville" get a "cutie mark" when they discover their purpose in life. Why do real-life people not have such cute names and why on earth do we never get a "cutie mark"? This book was such a good laugh. Loved it

More reasons why children's books are the best. The plot begins as a curious war between boys and girls but truth be told even girl besties inevitably have this debate. Atleast me and my bestie did. Altho after some concrete incidents my best friend was crowned the fart queen and she was quiet pleased and proud.
Spoiler alert: girls do fart amazing scents of roses, strawberries, rainbows and sparkles. Lol! i wish i was kidding, but no, read the book. it is amazing.
