I get it. The Train is a Metaphor For Society As A Whole™.
Only, it doesn’t work, in any way. Not the society bit, with corrupt politicians and power hungry military. Nor the train bit. They had to use a literal perpetual motion device as tractive power. Or the snow bit. So the former temperate zones were magically turned to Eternal Winter, but what about the former tropic and subtropic zones? No, Europe is snowed in, so All of Civilization is lost. Or the romantic subplot. There isn’t one. Our Hero meats The Love Interest and they instantly start kissing for no reason. Or the action scenes. The flashback attack/massacre: How do you mount an attack on the front of a train? You think Thermopylae was narrow‽ Try forming a front line in the doors between train cars!
