A small piece of advice: You will appreciate the book better if you've read Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Mysterious Island first. It's not essential at all but they're really good anyway! The Oxford World's Classics edition of the first: global.oup.com/academic/product/twenty-thousand-leagues-under-the-seas-9780198818649 and the Wesleyan University Press of the second: www.hfsbooks.com/books/the-mysterious-island-verne/ are good choices for translations.
