Having read one of this author's novels (Winter World, which I enjoyed immensely), I elected to attempt another. This novel was, for me, a complete dud. I bailed on the story after 100+ pages. This is NOT a novel (series) for me, not enjoyable, not relatable, and not well structured. If this were my first read of this author, I would simply move on to another. As it is, I'll try the conclusion of Winter World and then see if I might try a third series.

Atlantis & Autism Spectrum

I have the print release of this book for years and like many books I collected, I haven't gotten the time to get past chapter 2. Now that I finished it, amazing touch on the use of the Autism Spectrum. As someone who is in the spectrum and with the continued discrimination against us, I highly approve how AS was presented in this novel. Maybe, it is indeed the next step, the beginning. Only time can tell.

The synopsis did an excellent job of pulling me into this novel, the entire idea of human evolution and existence is a topic which has been debated for a number of years and still is today. There are a number of theories and a novel which embodied a theory and created an entire world around …
