Second time round I think I'd score this closer to 4.5 but I'll let the previous review stand. I think what I like most is that you're usually only given just enough context to understand the stakes, but some of these issues could be entire novels themselves. The four dimensional chess at play is a bit much but the deconstruction of comic and pulp fiction tropes makes up for it.
