Exoticism about the Catholic church.

Content warning About the end
This is what exoticism looks like from the recieving end. The author either didn’t know anitihng about the Roman Catholic church or didn’t care about what they knew. Yes, fiction, but when yu want to use a powerful religious institution like the one in the book, maybe don’t name it like a real one it has nothing to do with?
Also, the end, the »Final Chapter« reads very much like a re-write. The book had a perfectly fitting ending on page 200, the end of chapter 4. But no, the publisher probably wanted to turn this into a series. So we get a change much like Heinlein’s Podykayne of Mars (don’t bother reading that) got a second version.
Oh, and i did complain about the tipografy on my main fediverse account while i red this. It’s, well, i ges it’s at light novel level.
