Captive Prince

I am very glad that this was not a long read. I was appalled most of the time. The book was well enough written, though sometimes a bit too verbose. Unfortunately the story did not properly capture me and I am not sure if I will attempt the second book in this series. I had expected more than utter (sexual) violence against slaves and that the topic of rape was gonna be so prominent (without a content warning—at least if there was one, I must have missed it).

Sinceramente no entiendo el boom que hubo con esta trilogía en su día... Tiene aspectos problemáticos, los personajes no me han atraído en absoluto y sinceramente la trama deja bastante que desear. Lo único bueno que puedo decir de este libro es que es bastante fácil de leer y es entretenido... No creo que lea ni el segundo ni el tercer libro de la trilogía
