Review of 'Pirate women' on 'Goodreads'

I bought this book because I was genuinely interested in reading about female pirates. Having struggled through 50 pages all I had really read was a lecture about the patriarchy and how the women's story was never told - and continues not to be told in the book about that topic. I rarely just entirely give up on a book after 50 pages, but this one I don't see ever being finished.
