Clanlands

This one sounded like it would be be a good read, like a nice/fun tour of Scotland.

I haven't seen the tv show(s?) this is book talks about. I have seen some of the Hobbit that one of the actors are in. Else I don't know the actors from Adam.

I was really hoping it would be about Scottish fantastic history, nature and whisky. But I should really learn shouldn't I, actors do like to talk about their parts in various things and the awards they got (or just the parties attached to that.)

So therefore not much about Scotland as I hoped and it ain't as funny as people said it would be. The jokes, well the "funny" parts that they tried to do on the audiobook, were just miss timed and landed flat. It was like they weren't the same room or on a call together while recording and the edit just failed to deliver the joke.

Nothing against the actors and their accent, but someone wrote a review that their strong Scottish accents were a joy to listen to. That someone clearly haven't met a real Scott ;) As these actors have been around too many American for too long. That real wonderful, strong accent that real Scottish have, they clearly don't.

I DNF on this, 1/3 of the way in. As I can't be arsed to read, well listen too, actors going on about Me, Me, Myself, I and Me oh did I tell you when I was at so and so's , Me.
