"The once-utopian Chasm City a domed human settlement on an otherwise inhospitable planet has been overrun by a virus known as the Melding Plague, capable of infecting any body, organic or computerized. Now, with the entire city corrupted from its people to the very buildings they inhabit only the most wretched, grim sort of existence remains." -- Jacket.

Review of 'Chasm City' on 'Storygraph'

Couldn't get into it. Found the characters shallow and dull and the dialogue wooden. There was one exciting set piece before I gave up, but most of it seemed to be detailed descriptions of how awesome and huge everything was and vain attempts to make the characters cool. Other reviewers disagree with me so maybe I just wasn't in the mood.
