Very readable novella/long short story with body horror creepiness. Not especially feminist maybe? Not sure what I think of Louise and Edward’s dynamic - reminds me some of The Phantom Thread actually. But I think it’s open to interpretation, so I’m ok with it.
Very insular story - basically these two characters alone over 24 hours. Turns weird with quiet horror. Major theme of how much can you “own” a person or their body.
