This excellent collection of short stories ranges from fantasties of hacking artificial intelligence, to whimsical integrations of flesh and tech, to visions of struggling in a post-climate world, hitting many inventive premises along the way. Though the stories envision living even more intimately with technology than we do today, the overriding theme is exploring what it means to be human.
