Not because the scenario is impossible or the issue not to be discussed, but I remember mostly sex scenes and misogynist attitude from the main character which seem to justify the end point. Probably did not get the irony,

Quite good overview in particular for the initial phase of Fascismvon how it deals with different historical but not well known characters. I felt later years were covered very quickly. I learned a lot and agree with the epilogue about "silent majority" as a danger to all democracies

@gabeguz hope you enjoy it. I am ashamed to say that I lived in Pasadena area for 10 years and don't remember being aware of this incredible author. It took NASA to name Perservance landing site after her to made me aware from my white middle class bubble few years back.

I stopped reading these after Hamas atrocities but just finished it quickly. A remarkable book bringing to light at least for me the flaws with the Oslo accord, parallels between today the 1982 war in Lebanon, etc...

Was easy to read - that's what I needed at this time, and enjoyed the characters and plot. A great author.
