Fantastic Series

No rating

I loved this series and the ending was pretty perfect. Bardugo is not for readers who want nonstop action. There are places in all of the books that lag, but the world-building is honestly perfect, the characters are believable and engaging, the stories are thrilling and she mostly avoids the common issue with fantasy finales of going too far and creating a parody of her own work. I absolutely loved this series and now can't wait to read King of Scars.

Siege and Storm: Grisha Trilogy Book 2

4 stars

This one lags in some places, but that's pretty typical for the second book in a series. It's well worth the slower parts to move ahead in the overall story. The world and characters are so engaging you'll put up with anything to find out what happens to them.

This series has it all, adventure, magic, romance, angst, drama, humor. I'm loving it (and it's better than the Netflix show).
