I really needed some light reading and this is perfect. A young girl whose magic power involves having a strong affinity with animals. Every animal character is awesome. It is adorable.

Robin McKinley: Sunshine (Paperback, 2010, Speak) 4 stars

Damn this book is incredibly sexy. Sensual is probably a better word but to be concise it is sexy. And no there has been NO sex in it so far. Things can be sexy AF and there never actually be any sex. If you don't understand how that is then you probably just don't have a very sexy imagination and I'm sorry.

Finally a story I can identify with and a main character who is a 17 year old girl whom I can identify with so completely. This has never happened before in all the books I have ever read. This book was written for me. I have to read every book by this author.

"The startling saga of Mort(e) continues. In the aftermath of the War With No Name, …

This is so terribly written I can't go any further. Something about the way Morte is talking to his female dog friend is pissing me off. This feels like it was written very fast and like the author did not give a shit. So I don't want to give a shit either and read anymore. I was looking forward to finishing this series but I've got to spend my time with some better stuff.

Angela M. Sells: Sabina Spielrein (Paperback, 2018, SUNY Press) No rating

This book is making me hate Carl Jung so much. I am so furious about what he did to Spielrein. I'm not even that far into the book and I'm ready to scream at every Jungian alive "Your hero was a predator! Stop worshipping him!" I'm going to be a ball of rage by the end of this book. I want to type out a string of curse words to express my rage but I'm sure you understand I'm just screaming all of it in my head as I'm reading this book.
