I love fantasy and horror, I also read a lot of classics. I'm especially fond of dark and weird, and I appreciate humor (though I'm picky about that).

I don't know what to say about this book. I like Grady Hendrix, I like his writing, his ideas and storytelling. But this didn't really grab me. I like the creepy puppets and dolls, but I couldn't relate to the characters or understand their motives for a lot of it.

Also, it's not edited very well. A lot of repetition and quite a few continuity screwups, like opening a door twice. It makes it more surreal and Twilight Zoney, but it doesn't seem to be intentional
