AnnaRaven finished reading Shards of Earth by Adrian Tchaikovsky (The Final Architecture, #1)
Not sure I'm up for the rest of it. For some reason, this was a slog for me. The characters were good, the plot was solid. Good world building.
Maybe it's there were too many characters and I often felt like I was missing context. And it was way too easy to get distracted by other books.
It wrapped up pretty well in the end, with a good setup for a sequel, but I kinda feel like it could have about 20% shorter and been a better novel. Tighter.
