An absolutely beautiful, character-driven story filled with vignettes that range from humorous to heartbreaking to downright philosophical. The various factions present throughout are all well-written and impactful, and we learn about them in ways that never feel overly exposition-y. It's like Firefly, but better, and with 100% less Whedon.

A wonderful dive into the history of hypermedia and REST as well as a thoughtful and pragmatic guide on the benefits of carrying these concepts into the modern era. It's a breath of fresh air in field of software development so dominated by JavaScript libraries that go out of their way to obfuscate and discard the fundamentals on which the web was built.
