This memoir has a better plot than most fiction stories I've read recently. The author shares her story in the most vulnerable, raw, and honest fashion. At the same time, educating me about the history and present life of the people and land in the area where I live.

The first half pulled me in. The second half was an unpleasant journey and the payoff was a bit disappointing.

The positive side were the personalities, relationships, and exploring how people respond to existential challenges.

The premise reeks of grooming, yet I was drawn in to see for myself. The audiobook has good voice talent. There are many time scenarios, which can get a bit disorienting while listening.

Like many time travel stories, there are interesting, fun aspects, but also some illogical situations. Somehow, I keep getting pulled back in to see how each author tackles the challenges.
