4.4 stars. Just as gd as the first book and incredible writing style and storylines! I cant wait to see more of this world!.The only slightly negative, or offputting, thing in the books so far is that the wizard is downright unlikable at times. We are used to wise, gentle, respectful, kind wizards from other fantasy worlds like Dumbledore, Gandalf, Zedd and so on, but at times Bayaz is just mean, short tempered, rude and very ungrateful to his companions and specially his guides help and positive mood. I expect more from a great and very old and supposedly wise wizard, but this is just personal opinion perhaps, based on my own previous books worlds. And perhaps its for a reason Ive yet to know about, he does have a lot on his shoulders after all! But he is not my fave character, based solely on my wish for him …

4.3 stars. This book and author is so underrated and forgotten on the fantasy shelves. Incredible book and writing style, you are hooked from the first page and are never bored. Some say there are too many characters ala GoT, but thats not true at all. A must read book that I cant wait to see the rest of the journey of!

Highly overrated but still worth reading. Lacks details and depth and throughout all 3 books. Mediocre writing. The russian names and phrases of some things are incredibly offputting for me as it grounds u to earth, where this is a fantasy world. I keep wanting her to expand on this or go into more detail on that. Lots of missed opportunities and I dont fell like I really know the main characters or even like them. I didnt like the ending much either, in either 3 books. It felt rushed and just la done.

Overrated but still worth reading. There is a lot about the mythic gods in this book where it helps if u know about these gods already. Lots of family incest and rape that is apparently normal and ok among these gods that u hear the main character talk about as if its nothing, and no love among them either. Overall I didnt like any of the characters and didnt feel like I got to know the main character either, and it lacks depth, but its still worth a read and is unique in this genre and story.

As most stories are about this horrible time in history its a great but sad fiction about what happened to the ppl on both sides and everything in between. I loved it, however the time jumping back and forth was confusing to me and i lost track on when i was in the story even tho i knew it was a chapter meant to be from future in. It could have been set up better on these parts. But its a great book, one of the better of its kind!

Pls just end this, it gets worse and worse! The story is great as such but its terribly written, way too fast, no characters to like, cant stand the pushover main character who just never grows up and its the same book after book. Cant stand Stark either, never could from the first moment we met him, he never grows up either, is a petty jaloux bf that does the things Zoey kept saing she didnt want to accept in her life again yet she keeps sticking to him just yuk. Oh and aparently Shaylin is now gay, that came out of nowhere, as in half a page boom ok moving on very short and no indication at all so far. Theres a change in direction and oppinions every so often, without us knowing about it, ive seen several times where they say left and now suddenly say right and …

The best of the first 7 books so far.
And if it wasnt for the missing details and inbetweens and mediocre heroic moments and drama, it would get a 4
. What u imagine happens in ur head in these books, u can make look much more awesome than what the authors make it out to be in words and on paper.
The problem with this series' would-be epic moments, where they would be awsome in something like LoTR or any other top fantasy book like Rothfuss or Goodkind or Rowling, and with a great cinematic background and music behind it, instead its like me opening my arms wide down at the supermarket trying to call the elements to me. In ur head it looks great, but its less so with the way they write it, too lacking in details and personality.
I enjoyed this book however, and I cant …

This book is a Twilight fanfic, written by a Twilight fan who imagined some things differently along the way while reading it and created the book in a different universe.

Evie is Bella, Reed is Edward, Russel is Jacob, Buns is Alice, Brownie is Angela, Jim is Charlie and Freddie is the vilain. Where Twilight has vampires and wolves, Premonition has angels, fallen angels, archangels, reapers and the likes, in a set hierachy. Evie is the prodical halfbreed where the bad fallen angels wants her soul and our heroes wants to protect and love her. There is a ton a small things that are in some way a direct copy or reference to Edward and Bellas story and characters. And there are many things who is not, and has an original touch to it.

All this being said, if I hadnt alr read Twilight, I might rank this book …
