Although I found the first 2/3rds or so slightly less engaging than the earlier Grishaverse novels, the last third picked up and offered some major shocks!
A bit too longwinding. Could have been 2/3th or even half the size. I like Nicolai, but.... sheesh... don't rehash everything.
