I almost gave up on finding any new fiction that I actually liked, but it turned out Alexie wrote another book. Easy read. Loveable picaresque main character. Moments of hilarity. Lots of tragedy. Social commentary that isn't shoved down your throat. Tho I feel they are going to make a really cheesy, uplifting movie based on it some day and then I reserve the right to hate it.
